Music
Current Programs
Crawford has a vibrant music program, and it continues to grow each year.
Chancel Choir
The chancel choir is Crawford's most active music program. They are responsible for all music during the ceremony on most weeks, including the introit, anthem(s), offertory, communion music, and a choral response to conclude the service. Styles range from classical religious pieces to some that border on gospel. They are usually accompanied by a brass quintet or string quartet on holidays such as Christmas or Easter.
Children's Choir
The children's choir is from Kindergarten through 4th or 5th Grade. They perform for holidays and special occasions during the 10:45am service.
Handbell and Handchime Choirs
Through a generous donation in 2004, Crawford acquired a full set of handbells and handchimes. The handchime choir is for children in grades 1-5, while the handbell choir is for grade 6 through adult. If you can count, you can learn to play in the handbell choir - no experience necessary!
