Registration
We offer three programs as described below. If there is a question of appropriateness for a child, placement in a class will be up to the discretion of the Director.
- Two Morning Class for 3 year olds
3 years old by September 1st
Tuesday, Thursday 9:00am - 11:30am
20 children enrolled in this class - Three Morning Class for late 3 and early 4 year olds
3.8 years old by September 1st
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm
22 children enrolled in this class - Four Afternoon Class for 4 and 5 year olds
4 years old by September 1st
Monday through Thursday 12:30pm - 3:15pm
21 children enrolled in this class
We are still taking applications for the 2006-2007 school year. Applications for enrollment in September 2007 will be accepted beginning in April 2007. Children of church members, returning student and siblings have first priority for enrollment. Children are then taken off the waiting list to fill classes on a first come, first served basis. The United Methodist Nursery School will not discriminate in providing services to children on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability.
Parents are required to visit the school before applications are accepted. While parents are welcome to drop by, calling ahead assures that the Director has time set aside to talk to you.
Calendar
Classes begin two weeks after Labor Day and follow the Winchester Public School Calendar for holidays and vacations, with the exception that the Nursery School is always closed for two weeks in December. A school calendar is distributed each Fall to include any other exceptions.
